Hi, it's Jenny from Blempgorf. I didn't have an e-mail to reply to on your post, so I'll reply here.
I stalked my grays online and in stores. I personally like Fabric Shack and eQuilter for the selection. I used an illustration for inspiration, and ended up lining up the little photos from the shopping sites with my inspiration to find the right shades.
My colors:
Kona in ash
Amy Butler solids in slate
pimatex solid in putty
And my gray stripe was from equilter - the Zenith collection for Andover Fabrics.
A striped binding sounds awesome - I look forward to seeing how it turns out!
